The TC500 2.0 fits the SurRon Light Bee (Segway X260) and Talaria MX3, MX4 and MX5. The TC1000 2.0 fits all of those plus the SurRon Ultra Bee. Every bike has its own plug-and-play kit.

No. TORP kits fit the SurRon Light Bee / Segway X260 platform; the Light Bee S and Segway X160 are not compatible.

The TC500 2.0 is a strong, plug-and-play boost (up to 30 kW with the TM25 motor on an 80 V pack) that runs on your stock or an upgraded battery. The TC1000 2.0 is the flagship, up to 50 kW, for the biggest motors. An HV version (up to 60 kW on high-voltage batteries) is still in development.

The TC500 runs the stock motor and the TORP TM25. The TC1000 runs the stock motor, the TM25 and TM40 Pro (Light Bee) and the TM50 Pro / TM50 Speed (Ultra Bee). A few third-party motors are supported too, ask support if you're unsure.

Yes. The TC1000 2.0 supports stock 60 V batteries, as well as 66 V, 72 V and 80 V (22S) packs. The TC1000 2.0 HV version goes up to 96.2 V.

Yes, and how much you get from it depends on which pack your bike shipped with. TORP controllers communicate with Greenway batteries. SCUD batteries have no BMS communication at all, so there is nothing for any controller to talk to; you can still run a TORP controller on one, and an aftermarket 72 V or 80 V pack is the route to more power.

It depends on your bike, controller, motor and battery. The power calculator shows the exact peak power for your exact combination, pick your parts and see the number.

First, make sure you're not in Stock mode, hold the M button on the display for 6 seconds, or tap STOCK on screen 1 of the app. Top speed also depends on your sprocket, wheel size, rider weight and battery voltage.

Not to start, a TORP controller already boosts the stock battery. But the biggest peak figures (for example 50 kW on a Light Bee) need an upgraded higher-voltage pack. Build My Setup shows what each battery unlocks.

Choose the exact battery you're running. Picking the wrong type (for example an aftermarket setting for a stock pack) can drop BMS communication and cause power cut-outs.

Yes, with a TC500 (hardware 1.8 or newer) or a TC1000 (hardware 1.3 or newer). Older hardware needs a wiring modification, the manual walks you through it.

Voltage and current always show. Cell details, temperature and exact charge are limited on aftermarket packs, so the charge percentage is an estimate. Stock batteries give full data via BMS communication.

Yes. TORP kits use your bike's existing connectors and keep stock BMS communication, the factory sensors and the stock display working, no cutting or splicing.

Most controller installs take well under an hour, and many riders fit them in under 20 minutes. Every kit comes with the wiring, hardware and short instructions you need.

Yes. Always run the controller with a working circuit breaker or fuse. We prefer a circuit breaker where the setup allows it because it provides thermal and magnetic protection and can be reset after it trips. Running without either protection can damage the bike and voids the TORP warranty.

For most SurRon Light Bee and Talaria builds, keep the stock DZ47-125 100 A breaker; it handles 20 to 25 kW peaks. If longer high-power runs repeatedly trip it, use a DZ47-125 125 A breaker. If your setup requires a fuse, TORP generally recommends 150 to 250 A, rated for the full battery-pack voltage and selected using its time-current chart.

Download the free TORP app, connect over Bluetooth and run the guided calibration wizard. Lift the rear wheel off the ground first, it spins during calibration. Repeat the wizard after every firmware update.

Toggle Airplane mode on and off, make sure the app has Bluetooth permission (on Android 11 and older this is the location permission), check the controller's green light is on, and try another phone. If it still won't connect, see the manuals or contact support.

The TORP Full Color Display and the black-and-white TORP Display both work with the TC500 and TC1000, and your bike's stock display keeps working too.

TORP controllers and motors are covered for 2 years from the invoice date against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty follows the invoice, not the owner: if you buy second-hand, ask the seller for the original invoice and the remaining coverage is yours.

It can. TORP products are power-enhancing aftermarket components, and how fitting one affects your bike's factory warranty depends on the brand, the market and the dealer. Check the conditions with the seller of your bike before installing. Your TORP products carry their own 2-year warranty either way.

Damage from crashes or impact, improper installation, water damage without dielectric grease, unauthorised modifications, and using unsupported or incompatible parts.

Contact support with your serial number (on the silver sticker, the box and app screen 5), your invoice, and a short description with photos or video.

A small label on the controller and its box showing your serial number, Bluetooth name and password, model and hardware version. Keep it safe and don't remove it.

PayPal and credit card (both instant), or bank transfer (a few days via proforma invoice). PayPal or card is best for orders outside the EU.
