Peak system power from Build My Setup; real output depends on the complete setup.
The right wiring and mounting kit matter as much as the controller. Choose your model to see compatible parts, battery options and rider tests.
Compare TC500 and TC1000 for your stock battery or a planned battery and motor upgrade.
Light Bee controller upgradesChoose the TC1000 Ultra Bee kit. Keep the stock battery and motor, or plan a TM50 motor setup.
Ultra Bee controller upgradesCompare TC500 and TC1000. MX3 / MX4 and MX5 use different kits, so match your exact bike first.
Talaria controller upgradesYour bike is not listed? Ask us about compatibility before ordering. A kit for a similar-looking model is not a fitment guarantee.
Find your bike model, model year, battery label and motor. A Light Bee kit is not an Ultra Bee kit, and Talaria MX5 uses different kit parts from MX3 / MX4.
Keeping the stock battery? Compare the stock-battery figures first. Planning a motor or battery upgrade? Check the controller against that future setup too.
Use Build My Setup to compare compatible combinations, then read the installation guide for your kit before ordering.
The controller manages power from the battery to the motor. A compatible upgrade lets you adjust how the bike delivers that power, including throttle response and regenerative braking. The battery and motor still limit what the complete setup can deliver.
Start with your bike model, battery and motor, then decide whether you plan to upgrade them later. TC500 is an option for Light Bee and Talaria setups; TC1000 adds support for the Ultra Bee and higher-output motor combinations. A bigger controller does not automatically mean more power on your existing battery.
Choose between TC500 and TC1000Yes, the supported TORP setups can use the stock battery. Output depends on the bike, battery version, motor and settings. For Talaria, check the battery brand as well: Greenway and SCUD packs differ in BMS communication support.
Check power for your exact setupA compatible controller can change power delivery and acceleration, but there is no single speed gain that applies to every bike. Top speed also depends on battery voltage, motor, gearing, settings and riding conditions. Compare complete setups rather than choosing by a controller's maximum power rating.
No. The supported Light Bee, Ultra Bee and Talaria setups can retain the stock motor. A motor upgrade is a separate decision. For Light Bee, the TM25 works with TC500 or TC1000 and the TM40 Pro needs TC1000; Ultra Bee TM50 motors pair with TC1000.
Compare SurRon motor upgradesSupported 72 V aftermarket setups are available, but nominal voltage alone does not establish compatibility. Check the pack's fully charged voltage, current capability, BMS and connectors against your exact controller, motor and bike. Choose your battery in the setup builder before ordering.
