Fit any other aftermarket controller to your SurRon Ultra Bee and the factory traction control stops working. The TC1000 2.0 is the only one that keeps it fully functional.
By working directly with the bike's existing traction system, TORP helps reduce wheel spin and keeps power under control when grip is limited. The result is better acceleration, more stability, and more confidence on loose, wet or uneven terrain.

Every TORP controller keeps talking to your bike's stock BMS, so it safely unlocks more power from the pack you already own than other controllers can reach, with its built-in protection still active.
An upgraded pack
A higher-voltage 72 V or 80 V pack lifts the ceiling considerably, on the TC1000 2.0. The controller stays the same either way, so the battery is an upgrade you can make later.

Which TORP controller fits the SurRon Ultra Bee?
The TC1000 2.0 is the TORP controller for the Ultra Bee. Choose the Ultra Bee kit for the correct wiring and mounting parts. It works with the stock motor or a TORP TM50 Pro or TM50 Speed motor.

For a setup that keeps the stock battery and motor, start by comparing what the TC1000 controller can deliver with your battery version. If you want more than that combination can provide, plan the battery and motor together. A TM50 motor is optional, not a requirement for fitting TC1000.

No. Choose the TC1000 Ultra Bee kit. The TC500 kits on this website are for the Light Bee and listed Talaria models, not the Ultra Bee.

It can improve power delivery and acceleration when the battery and motor can supply it. Top speed also depends on voltage, motor speed, gearing, settings and conditions, so there is no single figure for every Ultra Bee. For a top-speed-focused build, the TM50 Speed has the higher RPM rating: 13,000 rpm against 11,000 rpm for the TM50 Pro.
Compare TM50 Pro and TM50 SpeedDoes the Ultra Bee need a circuit breaker or fuse upgrade?
The stock Ultra Bee battery has BMS protection and a fuse built into the pack. A working fuse or breaker on the main battery line is mandatory on every build, so if you fit an aftermarket pack, make sure it is protected by a correctly rated fuse.
