On a stock motor both controllers give you the same power. Choose the TC1000 if you plan to go beyond stock: a stronger motor, a high-current aftermarket pack, or simply more headroom than you will ever use.

Every TORP controller keeps talking to your bike's stock BMS, so it safely unlocks more power from the pack you already own than other controllers can reach, with its built-in protection still active.
A higher-voltage 72 V or 80 V pack lifts the ceiling considerably, on the TC500 2.0 and the TC1000 2.0. The controller stays the same either way, so the battery is an upgrade you can make later.
The SurRon Light Bee works with the TC500 2.0 and TC1000 2.0. Choose the TC500 2.0 for a plug-and-play boost on the stock battery, or the TC1000 2.0 for maximum power.
Yes. TORP kits use your bike's stock connectors and keep stock BMS communication and the stock display, no cutting or splicing.
