How much you get depends on which pack your bike shipped with.
A higher-voltage 72 V or 80 V pack lifts the ceiling considerably, on the TC500 2.0 and the TC1000 2.0. The controller stays the same either way, so the battery is an upgrade you can make later.
On the Talaria MX3 / MX4 / Sting R / MX5, TORP controllers run with your stock motor, this is a controller (and battery) upgrade.
TC500 and TC1000 are available for these Talaria models. Select the MX3 / MX4 / Sting R kit for those bikes, or the separate MX5 kit for an MX5. The controller name alone is not enough to identify the correct wiring and mounting kit.
Yes. The Talaria setups on this page use the stock motor and can run on the stock battery. Battery brand matters: Greenway packs support BMS communication, while SCUD packs do not. Check the battery guidance and model-specific power figures before choosing your setup.
Both TC500 and TC1000 are options with the Talaria MX3 / MX4 kit. On the stock battery, both have the same quoted power for the MX4. Choose using your battery and motor plans, and check whether your stock battery is Greenway or SCUD before comparing BMS features.
